RICHARD PILAEIS

Richard Pilaeis joined Satellite in 1995 where he started as an Area Manager for Northern Europe. Working a vast territory was a huge challenge but with a lot of opportunities because in a number of these countries, portable toilets were almost unknown.

For almost 7 years, from Iceland to Switzerland, he introduced companies and start ups into this fascinating business of portable sanitation, not only did he contribute to the growth of our customers but also had an important participation in the development of Satellite in Europe. He assembled units at a customer’s yard, worked with the service drivers, advised on marketing and operations, was present at trade shows, organised seminars, etc.

In 2002 he left the company to become General Manager of a Belgian portable toilet rental company, but returned to Satellite in 2004 as an Area Manager for the Benelux and Scandinavian countries. Since 2007, he takes care of the Benelux customers and develops the business in Southern and Eastern Africa to make portable sanitation available in more areas of this part of the world. He faces a lot of new challenges but at the same time, all kind of rewards and great job satisfaction putting more than 15 years of experience at your service.
